Laglag-Bala (Bullet-Planting) Scam at NAIA

In my own opinion regarding this, Laglag-Bala Scam at NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) is just a simple scenario at the airport that made complicated by the NAIA officials by extorting money to the passengers. Based on the travel news of dailymail.co.uk,
Victims are then required to pay a fine ranging between 500 pesos (£6) and 30,000 pesos (£410) or face charges of illegal possession of ammunition.
I really dont understand why the Chief of NAIA doesnt do anything about this at first? Is he not aware of this issue within his area of responsibility? We are deducted a big amount of taxes per payday and where does it go? Many have said that there are still areas in NAIA that dont have CCTV cameras especially in the screeing area.

Possible  Resolution

For me, if the scanner detects that there is a bullet in the baggage, they will just ask explanation from the passengers, if they will say that it is not theirs and they dont know where it came from or who place it in his/her baggage, then no sense to further ask questions to the extent that they will lose their flight, just CONFISCATE the bullet and let them board the plane. If they will say that they bring that as an amulet then follow proper procedure then after that let them board the plane, no further hassle , no EXTORTION whatsoever. That "EXTORTION" thing is what makes this issue unacceptable. Why they need to extort money? Arent they know  how hard to earn money these days that they will just ask for it easily in exchange for the case that they will file by seeing a bullet on the passenger's baggage, that most of the passengers denied of bringing such thing? What the NAIA officials have done to this issue? If the chief is not doing anything better for him to resign so that a more responsible and a true leader can lead NAIA and can make it a better airport.

NAIA officials better learn from the Aiport Officials of Mactan-Cebu Internation airport on how to properly handle this kind of SIMPLE issue. Check this article from sunstar.com.ph.

This is already an international news, infact United Nations already released a statement on how passenger should be careful when travelling to the Philippines. This is not the news that we want foreigners to know about our country right?

Now, Mr. President prove to us that we are your BOSS. Show to us that you are fair and even it takes to terminate your relative (by the way Manila International Airport Authority general manager Jose Angel  Honrado is his cousin) in his position because of inefficiency and incompetent, show to us that your administration is not only strict to the OPPOSITION or to those people who are against your administration. Show to us that you really care about this situation. We are waiting for your action or else your Presidential bet for this coming election will lose my support. #JustMyOpinion
