Basic Japanese Vocabularies

Since my husband is about to be employed in Japan, I asked him to teach me some basic Japanese vocabularies with their English translation. Hope you can learn on these as well. Enjoy!

Basic Japanese Vocabulary Words

Good Evening       -          Konbanwa

How are you?       -         Ogenkidesuka?
Are you alright?     -         Daijobudesu Ka?
Yes                       -         Hai
No                       -          Īe
Congratulations     -         Omedetōgozaimasu
Good                    -         Yoi
Bad                      -          Warui
Good Bye            -          Sayōnara

one                     ->        ichi
two                     ->       Ni
three                   ->       San
four                    ->       Tsu no
five                    ->        Go
six                      ->       roku
seven                 ->        shichi / Sebun

eight                   ->       hachi

nine                    ->       kyuu

ten                     ->        Jū
